BOOKING INFORMATION

Thank you for choosing T&S Music LTD to provide entertainment for your upcoming event.

This information sheet is designed to ensure everything runs smoothly on the day.

It includes both our artist's requirements for the performance and a simple form that we kindly ask you to fill in so we have all the information to perfectly tailor the performance to your requirements.

INFORMATION REGARDING YOUR ARTIST

The artist has many years of performance experience in providing entertainment for events. They offer a vast range of musical styles from 60’s and Motown up to modern day.

Like any good musician or DJ, they are very experienced at gauging a crowd’s reaction to the music they choose on the day and will tailor their set during the performance to ensure the crowd is kept dancing. You're welcome to send over a list of your favourite songs from the artist's repertoire (song list provided upon request) and they will try to include your selections in their set.

SPECIFIC SONG REQUESTS

You may have a special song you want to hear on the day that may not be in the artist's current repertoire (example; music for the first dance at a wedding). We offer one free song request that the artist will endeavour to learn and prepare for the day (provided it is within one of the genres in which the artist performs). Any further songs that are not in the song list can be added for an additional cost.

The artist will need a minimum one month's notice to prepare your selected song. Requests cannot be made on the day of the event.

MUSIC BETWEEN SETS

Our artist is happy to provide music via an iPod/iPad between sets, this is usually a pre-mixed playlist. If you have particular songs in mind, please feel free to create your own playlists and the artist will play it through their PA system.

ARTIST REQUIREMENTS FOR THE PERFORMANCE

ARRIVAL & SET UP TIME

Our artist will usually arrive and set-up 1 1/2 hours prior to the scheduled performance time. This allows the artist the necessary time for set up and sound check (approx. 1 hour). It is vital that there be sufficient time for a sound check to ensure the best sound is achieved for the venue. Each venue is different and the soundboard has to be adapted to suit.

If you require the artist to set up earlier in the day an additional fee may be required.

PERFORMANCE AREA

The artist requires a space no smaller than 5ft x 5ft. This is to ensure both the artist and equipment fit safely into the performance space. The area should be clear of obstructions (such as furniture, chairs, tables etc.). And lastly, a smoke-free environment (not near entrances to smoking areas) for the artist is appreciated and makes for an enjoyable performance for everyone.

LOAD-IN ACCESS

The artist will require vehicle access in close proximity to the stage/performance space for unloading/loading of equipment.

ELECTRICITY POINTS

The artist will require 1-2 independent 13 amp electrical mains points within the designated performance space. For health and safety reasons, we cannot run extension cables across room spaces so please do check with your venue if you are unsure.

SET LENGTH AND BREAKS

You can expect the artist to offer set lengths of either 2 x 45, 2 x 60 or 3 x 45 minute sets

with interval breaks of 20 minutes in between. However, this can be tailored to suit your event so please talk to us and a quote will be provided based on required set lengths.

REFRESHMENTS

It is requested that the artist is provided with free water and soft drinks and a meal while they're at the venue (usually after they've set up). It is typical of the artist to leave for the event mid-afternoon and will often arrive home early hours of the morning so a hot meal is always greatly appreciated.

OUTDOOR PERFORMANCES

Some events may require an outdoor performance. Of course, the UK weather may not always co-operate but there are ways to ensure a smooth show.

For any outdoor events, the artist requires a raised stage (5ft x 5ft) that provides a flat surface and raises the equipment off of the damp ground. The stage area must also have a full cover (and not just tarpaulin). Electrical requirements listed above still apply. However, please ensure that it is covered and protected from the elements. At the end of the day, it is about the safety of everyone. And as stated earlier, a smoke-free stage area is greatly appreciated.

Outdoor performances are to be agreed upon prior to the date of the event

PRICING

Prices quoted for events are on a case by case basis and are calculated based on your requirements and distance. All prices are based on a maximum 4 - hour call from arrival at the event to completion of performance. Anything beyond this 4-hour window will require an additional cost.

PAT TEST & PUBLIC LIABILITY (PLI)

The artist has full Public Liability Insurance and all equipment is fully PAT tested. If the venue requires a certificate for either of the above, please let us know at least 1 month before.

Now we just need you to tell us a few things about your event so we can quote you a price and ensure the event runs smoothly.
