While on her holiday travels, Selena stopped into Chiswick to take part in the British Voice Association's "Interactive Rock & Pop Day" - giving those involved a taste of vocal effects available to singers today using TC Helicon's VoiceLive 3 Extreme. It was an informative, fun and interactive day for everyone.

Come celebrate "Soul Explosion '69" - the first full-length release by the Rhythm Express, will feature an opening set by the Blackburn Brothers. The album will be performed in its entirety and is all about the classic soul, ska and reggae songs of the 60s and 70s with a new twist, and Blackburn will take you on a musical journey through the back streets of funky America from Memphis to New Orleans.
I'm back!!! Did you miss me? I'm sorry I disappeared for so long. The season became a hectic one which is a challenge but always a welcome one. In that time I performed for even more festival shows, had a demo video go near viral, performed and witnessed a very dear friend get married and then saw myself off on a trip of a lifetime for over a month where I took some much needed time to relax but also did a performance for the British Voice Association's "Ineractive Rock & Pop Day" (met some fab people there as well).

With half of the summer still remaining, Toronto has been a hot bed of live music and free concerts everywhere. While celebrating the annual summer music festivals (Luminato, TD Jazz, Beaches Jazz Festival) the city is also running a series of free, live concerts called Panamania 2015 in conjunction with the Pan Am games (which have just concluded).
But it isn't over just yet. The Parapan Am games will be taking place August 7th-15th which means lots more music to take in.
