And So Ends A Wonderful Summer...

I'm back!!! Did you miss me? I'm sorry I disappeared for so long. The season became a hectic one which is a challenge but always a welcome one. In that time I performed for even more festival shows, had a demo video go near viral, performed and witnessed a very dear friend get married and then saw myself off on a trip of a lifetime for over a month where I took some much needed time to relax but also did a performance for the British Voice Association's "Ineractive Rock & Pop Day" (met some fab people there as well).

We all need to de-stress and decompress; to take time for ourselves and maybe even take the time to connect with those we love because sometimes we get so lost in all we do that we maybe forget who we are. And it felt so wonderful to do this - enough so that it was hard to say goodbye to a summer that has left such a deep and beautiful imprint in my heart; I fell in love all over again.

So now I'm back and things don't look as I left them. The sky is grey and the trees are caught in a constant breeze. The fall is here and it's one of my favourite times of the year (sorry for the rhyme - purely accidental). There's loads for me to look forward to and be thankful for: A Tribute to Willie Dixon, the CD release show of Rhythm Express alongside the Blackburns, more Mad Dogs & Englishmen and maybe even a show of my own here and there ;-)
